Brief: 21st Century Bakery

Design a new version of the traditional bakery, which focus mainly on food waste but also creates an experience for it's customers that is beyond just buying bread at the till.

​

The space will celebrate and share the methods of artisan baking. Identify one key product that will provide the focus for the space. 

We want you to design a new Eco-friendly retail concept that aligns with Pets at Home’s environmental credentials, showcases our new sustainably sourced own brand product range (food and accessories), eliminates plastic waste and provides our customers with more sustainable ways to shop with us.

The brief will be to create either a ‘Sustainability Zone’ effectively a Shop in Shop within a Pets a Home Store OR a stand alone pop-up shop where all elements of the build, design, finishes and products have been sourced ethically and sustainably.

Michael May wants you to design a unique and creative pop-up shop, that will give its visitors a new view on the knife making industry. You should mainly consider how the customers are moving around in the space and how they are going to be inspired and experiential, while learning about the brand.
